    Loose leaf printing prices

All loose leaf pages are printed single sided on 170gsm silk coated paper, which is archival to 200 years in ideal conditions.

    5 - 9 pages $3 each

    10 -19 pages $2.20 each

    20 - 49 pages $1.90 each

    50 - 99 pages $1.50 each

    100 + pages $1.35 each

How to send pages or LO (layouts) for printing at My Reflections:

    Option 1.Using Photobook designer Software.

Download “Photobook Designer” from My Reflections website

Start a new book in the size you want printed.

Use “Photobook Designer” full page template and drag your image onto the page.

When finished use the order wizard to upload the files or choose the CD option and burn to disc and post.

Make sure you inlcude a note in the comments section of the order wizard to say you want loose pages and not a photobook album. Also state if you want the pages trimmed or left untrimmed.

We will send you a separate quote, so don't pay on the confirmation email that follows the upload.

Option 2. Burn pages or layouts to CD and post to My Reflections. Make sure you include a note to say you want loose pages and include your name and contact details.

Option 3. Upload your pages or LOs using a free file sharing site. We like You Send It, but you are welcome to choose your own.

NB. Two x A4 or 8x8 layouts with fit on one loose leaf page, so you get double the number of pages for the same price.

If you have any questions, call Suzanne on 08 95293351 or email us from the contact page of My Reflections website.

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

    Hello

I have downloaded your software to upload my layouts to. To get them into your program, is there a certain way I should do it so they arent in the book format or do I just upload them through the option to make a 12 x 12 photobook & then when I send them to you, mention that I would like them printed loose leaf?

    Thanks

    Rochelle

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

Its ok, I figured it out! Yay!

I'll just go through and make the photobook but when I'm finished, I'll preview it then save the PDF & burn that to a cd to send to you. The pdf is saying the page size is 11.69. I'm hoping thats ok?

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

    Hi Rochelle,

If you have broadband then just upload the pages as if you were sending us a book, but make sure you make a note in the comments section, that you want them printed as loose leaf pages.

We will send you a separate payment request, so just ignore the email request that follows the upload.

If you are burning to CD, then make sure you do the same thing as you would for an order. Click on "file" then "order" and follow the wizard. Just make sure you put a blank cd in the drive. Ignore any windows that pop up, as you only need the order screen for your book.

    Cheers,

    Suz

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

    Hi Suz,

I am so happy that you are now printing single loose leaf LO's so what I would like to know after spending all arvo here in the forums reading all the info but not necessarily having awhole lot sink in.....lol, is when I pop my 12x12 LO's in using photobook designer at 300dpi that have already been created in PSCS2 do you do any trimming or do I need to add a 2mm white border to the original files, so that nothing gets chopped off and what I created originally is what I will have printed. I know by going through and ordering as I would a book is the best and adding in the comments section for them to be printed loose leaf. Is that all I need to do??

Oh and do I use template 1 as I don't want any borders and I want to go from edge to egde. Does that make any sense?

I am new to all of this so I appreciate any hints and tips too avoid any disappointments. Next step might be a book when I have enough truly great LO's. Working on that....lol

    Thanks

    Chris Turnbull

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

    Hi Chris,

Yes you are correct, just drop your images into Photobook Designer. Template one is good if you don't want borders and just dropping them in the background will work fine as well. The background doesn't get any sharpening or colour enhancement (which you may or may not want, depending on your scrapbooking ability).

We trim the whole lot at once, so will trim up to 2mm, depending on the pages shifting slightly when we trim. It's really very little, but you do need to be aware of this when creating pages. Thin borders and text right on the edge, can be affected.

Just be aware that adding a thin white border, is still adding a thin border. You may lose some or all of this, so just end up with a mess. If you don't want to lose any of your image, then drop it into a smaller template, so that you have a large white border on that page.

Yes just make a note that it's to be loose pages and we will send you a separate payment request.

    Cheers,

    Suz

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

Thanks for answering Suz. I don't want to lose any image at all in the trimming process and I know you mentioned template 1 would be the better but even a 2mm trim may be a problem so now I am not sure what to do. Do you colour enhance any loose leaf LO's at all in the process or is that just the books. I guess what I am after is what I have created in my 12x12 LO's is what I want printed with none of the design trimmed off. Any more advice would be good before I start with uploading. Although I think I may go play about as well and read some more and take it from there. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

Your best bet in this case, is to choose a smaller template and we will leave the white space on. The other option is that you can always ask us not to trim at all. Then trim your own individually at home.

    Cheers,

    Suz

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

Oh Suz you made my day thankyou. The option of asking you not to trim is what I want. So I will get about and just upload a couple into template 1 and ask for loose leaf pages no trimming. Thankyou Suzy. Big Smile [:D]

    Hi Kelly,

Yes we ship all over the world. You will need to contact us directly for a quote, since it's not a photobook.

    Regards,

    Suzanne

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

Suz?  Are we able to just order one loose leaf page or is the minimum 5?

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

The minimum postage for a 12x12 print is $3.50, so it's hardly worth getting just one done. It's $4 for just one print, so that makes a total of $7.50. There is nothing stopping you doing this if you don't mind paying that price.

    Re: Loose leaf printing prices

    Ok, lots of questions.

Suz, what about if the layouts are being used not loose leaf, but in a 12x12 photo book, using template 1? Do we still need to allow for that possible 2mm loss?

Also, I just dropped some photo's onto the dustjacket, using template 28. I then wanted to add a border around my pics, which then showed on the spine. I presume if I have it showing on the spine on the computer, it will also show on the spine in real life???

Also, last one...I promise. Do the dustjacket and the actual cover underneath the dustjacket use the same image. ie: If I design the dustjacket with a title and three pics, would the cover still be the same design if one was to take the dustjacket off?

    TIA
