My Reflections Community

Hi, I am new here, just brought the disc yesterday at the Parents and Children's Expo here in Perth and am having great fun "playing"!!  But I can't figure out how to put small embellishments on from the file, they keep coming up huge and filling the page background??  Can someone please help me?  I am trying to do an album for my god daughters 2nd birthday party.

Hi, it's Suz here. I'm pleased to see you are having a play already. There is a new update due to be released within the next couple of weeks and the files that end in png are going to work once the update is available. In the meantime, all the jpg files will work for you.

We had hoped that the new update was going to be available at the show, but we just didn't manage to get it done in time. I decided to include the embellishments anyway, since two weeks will come around very quickly.

If you have photoshop, or another editing program, then the embellishments will work in there. You will need to create a blank page at 300 dpi and save it as a jpg when you are done. This can be dropped into the full page template in Photobook Designer.

If you want to be kept informed for the update, then go to our home page of the My Reflections website and register for our monthly newsletter. We will announce the release there and also in our forums. We are working very hard to get this out as soon as possible.

For anyone that is wondering what embellishments we are talking about, I will explain below.

My Reflections offered a package deal at a baby show in Perth last weekend. This included a baby kit, a masculine kit and additional backgrounds for pages.

I have posted the baby kit papers (not the embellishments) for free download. Please check the Father's and Mother's day ideas thread for the link and instructions if you would like to download these for yourself. I may also include the masculine papers as well.

Thanks Suz, I haven't got photoshop but my birthday is around the corner so I'm pushing for that :), I am having great fun and can't wait for the new updates!!
