I have nearly finished my book and am really excited about it.  When filling in the text I dont seem to have many fonts to choose from and the one that i want (as used in your flyers, like old flowing style) is not in there.

Is there some way I can get more fonts?

Hi Marnie,

Yes there are heaps of websites with free fronts to choose from. Just type in free fonts on a search engine and you are bound to come up with heaps of websites. Make sure you read the instructions on installing your new fonts.

Here is a link for instructions on installing new fonts. It looks like a lot, but if you follow step by step, you should be fine.

my next question......  I have looked through all the backgrounds and the links you have provided as well, but I cant find a plain black, or plain coloured background without some fancy art on it.  Are there any plain backgrounds available?

Also, I have a A4 landscape and I think i now want A5, can i change now (the book is pretty much finished)??

I'm happy with my book size and i think i read somewhere I cant change the size anyway.

So if you could let me know about the plain back and coloured backgrounds that would be great!

Hi Marnie,

I'm pleased you managed to get the fonts you wanted.

There is a way to change most sizes and it is possible to change from an A4 to A5. Bare in mind, that A5 is half the size of an A4.

The way to do this is to click on Book, then on Functions, then on Change Book.

If you just want a plain colour on the background, just right click on the background and choose, Change page colour. If you want to do custom colours, then select this and you can also change the lightness by dragging the slider up and down.

If you want to add it to custom colours, then make sure you click on an empty box under the colours, then find the colour you want and click on "Add to custom colours".

I personally don't care for black backgrounds. If you do choose this, then I suggest putting a white border around the photos to enhance them.
